Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Centennial – Graphic Design
jordannerissa worked with with the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Rochester, NY to design a logo for the Church’s Centennial Celebration.
The logo was intended to feel grand yet encompass a modern feel. The use of gold gradient with a combination of serif and sans-serif fonts helps in achieving this goal.
The graphic itself was inspired by forms and elements from within the Church itself. The gold, burgundy and blue stay true to the colors of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
The logo was utilized across a variety of platforms including clothing, accessories, banners, signage, online and print. It was even featured on the Church’s banner and flags used during the Greek Independence Day parade in New York City.
It creates pride among parishioners and encourages celebration of this joyous, momentous occasion.
