My now fiance and I were in Playa del Carmen, Mexico this exact day last year (which is hard to believe). We had such a great time at the Sandos Playacar Resort, we would highly recommend it. Playa del Carmen is such an amazing vacation spot – so much variety of things to do from climbing historic temples to the nightlife on La Quinta Avenida.
I will definitely be blogging more about our trip so check back. The most ironic part of it all though, being there on Cinco de Mayo last year is that Americans celebrate it more than Mexicans do!
